Burhill Golf Club located in Walton on Thames, the flagship of the BGL Company, is currently looking for x2 Part Time Reception/Administration Assistants to contribute to the smooth running of the busy Reception.

Job Purpose - The reception is the hub of Burhill Golf Club and is often the first impression for many people. We aim to ensure the reception team exceeds the expectations of every visitor and member with whom they have contact with.

Along with administration tasks, entering invoices through SAGE (training given) telephone enquiries and working alongside other departments, the key accountability is meeting and greeting, dealing with issues, as and when they arise, to ensure an end result of 100% customer satisfaction.

This role will comprise of a minimum of 15 hours per week, usually 3 days out of 7, including weekends. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with increasing hours, due to holiday cover and work commitments by the Head Receptionist in another department.

Reception's hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-2pm (winter hours), 8am-4pm (summer hours).

The desired applicant will be:

- comfortable in the public eye, as roles are front of house customer facing

- experienced and have a real passion for delivering 5* customer service

- computer literate

- confident in handling enquiries in person and over the phone

- confident and pleasant personality

- aware of the importance to attention to detail

- able to drive and be a car owner, as the golf club is not on a local bus route and a 20-30 minute walk from the train station

A background in golfing knowledge would be advantageous.

£8.65 per hour.
