Chef de Partie - Dinorben Arms, Bodfari 

We are looking for experienced Chefs de Partie and Senior Chefs de Partie to join the crew at the Dinorben Arms at Bodfari, the latest acquisition to the Brunning and Price family of pub restaurants, due to open in early 2017.

We’re currently in the process of a substantial renovation to restore the building to it’s former splendour as a traditional freehold pub restaurant with a purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standard.

Our Chefs de Partie undertake key roles in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and experience of working in a busy, fresh food environment. 

You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will generally be given responsibility to look after a particular section with the help of other chefs.  On a daily basis you’ll be supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking as well as undertaking kitchen management duties including ordering, stock control and ensuring food safety and cleaning standards are met. 

As part of the team, you’ll help develop seasonal menus with a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.

Depending on your experience, as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie, we’ll reward you with a starting salary package up to £20,000 per annum.  Our rate of growth means that there are exciting opportunities springing up all the time and we always try to promote from within when we can which means this is an excellent stepping stone on the road to developing a rewarding career as a professional chef.
