Duty Manager - Northampton

Reporting to: General Manager

Hours of work: 40 hours/variable, flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business, with variable shifts to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Purpose and objectives of the role

To work with the Operations Managers and all colleagues to provide the most enjoyable and safest experience to all visitors to Boost Trampoline Park, driving visitor numbers and strategic business growth.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Fully supporting the Operations Managers in all key areas and deputise in his/her absence when required
  • Covering Duty Manager shifts as required
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are being carried out, including all operational safety checks
  • Ensuring the Park is opened or closed in line with operating procedures
  • Ensuring all shifts are covered by correctly trained employees
  • Taking responsibility for cashing up and balancing of tills when required
  • Leading on providing the highest level of customer service
  • Being the first contact for any First Aid incident, and dealing with incidents in line with Boost policies and procedures
  • Working with colleagues to increase visitor numbers
  • Promoting the Boost brand at all times and at every opportunity
  • Playing an active role as a member of the Management Team
  • Carry out any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Experience

Essential

  • At least 2 years’ experience in sport, leisure or recreation management

Qualifications and education

  • Up to date first aid at work qualification (FAW 3 day, with attendance at monthly competency training)
  • Literacy, numeracy and IT skills (minimum to GCSE level)
