About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering team, working across Ireland. You will provide an efficient and proactive engineering support function to AMT Coffee bars based in Cork, Limerick and various locations in County Dublin.
Working hours will be part time and on a flexible basis, totalling 20 hours per week.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintenance
- Preventative and emergency maintenance of the coffee bars and stockrooms including the maintenance of the actual bar and all that the bar encompasses, from the lights to the machinery.
- Responsible for making sure the bars have all the necessary equipment.
- Ensure correct and appropriate parts are fitted to machinery and equipment as required
- Emergency reactive maintenance of the coffee bars, as required.
- Weekend on call as scheduled.
- Occasional night work as required when installing, removing or upgrading a coffee bar.
Company Equipment
- Responsible for the upkeep and care of the Company van and tools. This includes making sure the services are carried out at set intervals and the MOT and car tax are up to date.
- Van to be kept clean and tidy and it will be subject to regular checks.
- It is the responsibility of the Engineer to ensure that the van is not illegally parked and that parking is paid in advance so as to prevent fines.
- Responsible for keeping the van properly stocked with spare parts
- Responsible for the upkeep and care of company tools, mobile phone and spare parts.
Administration
- Following correct procedures for paperwork including Engineering job sheet, mileage forms, weekend call out forms, cash/credit card/fuel card expense forms.

You will have proven experience in a similar role including basic plumbing and electrical experience.
