About Us

Amac stands for ‘Associated Martial Arts Consultancy’ and was founded by Dave and Liz Lee in 2000 following their dissatisfaction with coaching resources for the martial arts industry. Although martial arts was the original focus of their business, Amac soon teamed up with Pro Active Health to produce circuit cards to help all instructors add variety to their circuit classes.  

For over ten years since, Amac has been approved by CYQ to provide training courses and has delivered many projects that have encouraged progression into further education and employment. Amac have worked with public and private leisure providers, schools, colleges, local councils and constabularies, offered apprenticeships and government funding. Dave continues to write and produce all Amac’s courses although he is primarily an academic these days.
