Chef de Rang - Alexander House, Sussex

Scope

Working in AG's our Fine Dining Grillroom under the direction of our Restaurant Manager and Maitre d'hôtel to assist in the delivery of quality service in this 3 Rosette Restaurant.

Main Duties

• Preparing the restaurant for service
• Meeting and greeting guests
• Taking guest orders
• Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
• Gueridon service of some dishes
• Taking orders and service of wines, champagnes and liqueurs
• Completing satisfaction checks
• Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service
• Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing

Requirements

• Food and beverage service experience in a quality restaurant 
• Proven wine and beverage knowledge
• A passion for food
• Smart appearance and friendly, warm character to host the guests dining experience
• Excellent communication skills

Salary & Benefits £17,000 including guaranteed service charge
