Active Nation is a registered charity driven by its mission to persuade the nation to be active. It is a fast growing and dynamic and has been selected by Southampton City Council to be its principal sport and exercise delivery partner over the next 10 years.

At Active Nation we don’t sell memberships but we campaign and recruit Supporters!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Active Nation Southampton. We are looking for exceptional individual who is dynamic, self motivated and a brilliant conversationalist to play a pivotal role in our mission to persuade the nation to be active at our venues in Southampton (The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex, Bitterne Leisure Centre & Chamberlayne Leisure Centre).

As Exercise Coach, you will play a pivotal role in the retention of our Supporters. As well as coaching Supporters to achieve their sport and exercise goals, you’ll make a connection, have a conversation and gain a commitment from every Supporter you speak to. You’ll also support the Campaign Team in recruiting new Supporters.

You will:

The role will require you to have outstanding customer communication skills and the ability to support the Campaign Team in recruiting Supporters to the charity. And most importantly be a conversationalist, talking to our customers and persuading them to be Active!
