General Manager - St Crispins, Wokingham

About your role

Are you an experienced Duty Manager or Operations/Assistant Manager looking for your first General Managers role or a manager looking for a new challenge?

We need to recruit a General Manager who will be an enthusiastic leader, commercially astute and a focused customer service individual. With at least 12 months experience, ideally from a leisure environment, you’d be able to demonstrate your management of teams, communication skills and the consistent delivery of business targets and KPI’s.

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, you’d be responsible for the duty management team and ensure facilities are open, clean and safe, equipment working and staff friendly.  Equally an important part of your role will be to maintain and develop the programme of activities at the Centre by working collaboratively with clubs, coaches, community groups to utilise all space.

You’ll engage more with existing customers acting on feedback and get out into the wider local community, with outreach activity, supporting or hosting events.

Qualifications

This position holds a minimum of a level 3 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent with the opportunity to progress to Level 4. There will be a requirement to sign up to a level 3 or 4 within 4 weeks of start date if these are not held.

Membership of CIMSPA is desirable.
