Operations Manager

About your role

Are you business minded, driven with previous management experience preferably within the leisure environment?

Sleaford Leisure Centre is looking to appoint an Operations Manager to lead teams whilst working closely with the General Manager to deliver the centres objectives. The Operations Manager will also be assistant to the General Manager, helping with general management in their absence and being involved in the financial side of the centre

Supporting the General Manager you will take all the necessary steps to ensure the customer service is second to none. This will involve effective deployment of your teams, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety requirement and taking on a hands on approach to service delivery.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, team player and approachable providing a quality experience for all visitors and staff. The successful candidate should also have a good working knowledge of Health and Safety & knowledge of Quality systems, specifically Quest.

A first aid qualification and NPLQ is essential and Pool plant Operator would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.

This role would be an excellent career progression for an experienced Duty Manager or a current Operations Manager looking for a new challenge and a stepping stone to becoming a General Manager.

A flexible approach to hours of work will be required as you will be working on a shift rota, including early mornings, evenings & weekends.

Sleaford Leisure Centre is a centre providing a variety of exercise, relaxation and fun. Recently refurbished, with a 30 station fitness centre, 25m pool, Class Studio, Steam and Sauna, and children's Woodland Splash.
