General Manager - Crouch End FFFW

Fitness First is the largest and fastest growing health club chain in Europe, with over 1 million members in 14 countries across the globe.

We are looking for a driven, hard working and forward thinking General Manager to fill a key role in our health club and therefore help to ensure the continued success of our organisation.

The General Manager runs the whole club on a day to day basis and is accountable for all operational aspects and staff management.

The GM role a high profile position and so the successful candidates need to be able to work well under pressure and respond positively to change and progress.  Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Adhering to the Annual Budget Plan
• Reviewing Key Performance Indicators and setting targets in response to these
• Report writing and assessing memberships, revenue, secondary spends, payroll costs and operating profit
• Controlling and Managing the premises, people, products, processes and promotions in club
• Leading the sales function forward

Essential Experience/Qualifications/Qualities

• Process and People Management (1 year+)
• History of High Achievement and Experience of Targeted Sales
• Target/Budget setting Facilities Management (preferably in leisure and/or hospitality industry)
• Report Writing and Submitting within Set Deadlines
• Work Well under Pressure to Tight Targets

Desirable Experience/Qualifications/Qualities

• Profit and Loss Accounting
• Willingness to Learn Leisure industry related experience
• HR and Training of staff
