Contract General Manager

I am recruiting on behalf of a leading UK leisure management operator for a Key Contract Manager vacancy in South East London

The centre is a PFI contract which is run on behalf of a London Borough, you will manage the entire building in respect of maintenance, security, cleaning, staffing and finance. The management of the leisure centre also falls under your remit and includes a pool, main hall, fitness arena, studio and multi use area. There is also a library and a doctor’s surgery together with various health clinics.  The Contract Manager needs to have good consultation, communication and negotiating skills as they will be involved with several different organising bodies.

The successful candidate must have local authority management experience and possess excellent commercial and people management skills.
