Health & Fitness Manager - Northampton FFFW

Fitness First is the largest and fastest growing health club chain in the world, with over 1 million members in 14 countries across the globe.

We are looking for a Health and Fitness Manager to oversee all fitness operations within the club and provide members with a positive experience of personal training by managing a team of highly trained and motivated 1:1 Personal Trainers.

We are looking for experienced Fitness Managers who are looking to take a step up in responsibility and to make a real impact. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Planning quarterly fitness events and activities
• Help PT’s build their own business within club
• Personal Trainer Recruitment
• Fitness rotas
• Reviews with Studio and Events Manager and Fitness Consultants
• Setting Personal Trainers’ Sales Goals
• Planning contact calls
• Controlling PT Licences
• Teaching classes
• 20 hours per week on the gym floor including inductions and orientations

Essential Experience/Qualifications/Qualities

• NVQ Level II or above in Personal Training/Gym Instruction or equivalent
• Keen to Develop Career Further
• People Management Experience
• Business Management Experience
• Solid Fitness Background

Desirable Experience/Qualifications/Qualities

• Sales Background Report Writing
• Experience of working to targets
