Part of Watford and District YMCA, Charters Health Club offers a variety of Health, Fitness and Sports activities across its 3 centres in Hertfordshire.

This vacancy will be based at our Highfield Park Centre, St Albans

GYM INSTRUCTOR – Part-time

Salary £9,089 pa (£8.74 per hour)

Our qualified Fitness Instructors provide a welcoming atmosphere to all members and users entering the Health Club. You will ensure that all clients are acknowledged and receive a premium level of service. 

We are seeking to appoint a qualified gym instructor who is enthusiastic, committed  and customer focused in return we offer benefits which include free gym membership, pension scheme, plus opportunities for development and promotion.

This is a part-time post, hours operated on a shift basis and includes afternoons, evenings and weekends. Shifts will be:

Weekends 9am to 5pm - Evenings 6pm to 10pm - Afternoons 2pm to 10pm

You will be required to carry out fitness assessments, work out programmes and sessions so as to ensure the client achieves their personal objectives. It is essential that our fitness instructors regularly approach and interact with all users ensuring that the customer care standards are being achieved.
