A leading provider of sport and leisure solutions in the area, KAL is a forward thinking, commercially focussed Charitable Trust helping ‘More People’ to be ‘More Active, More Often’ in Kirklees.

Following a significant site refurbishment, Kirklees Active Leisure will open a brand new Fitness Suite at Colne Valley Leisure Centre in September 2008.

The fitness suite will contain over 40 stations of state of the art fitness equipment and will be equipped with a quality audio visual provision, including on board entertainment for the fitness equipment.

To drive this new facility forward towards its targets we are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused gym manager, to guide the fitness suite through its initial months and beyond.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing in the health and fitness industry and will be committed to providing a high level of service to members and non members alike. 

A recognised fitness qualification is required and the ability to teach classes would be an advantage but is not essential.

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure will be required for this post.  A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
