Wood Hall is part of The Hand Picked Hotels Group and is seeking a Beauty Therapist/Spa Assistant. The property is a wonderful country house, tucked away in a picturesque elevated setting with some of the finest views in Yorkshire, is simply breathtaking.
Surrounded by over 100 acres of woodland and parkland this country house has provided pleasure to guests for generations, whatever their reason for visiting.

Scope and Purpose:To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To report for duty in good time, clean and tidy and wearing the correct outfit.
2.To strive to anticipate customer needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
3.To treat all internal and external customers in a polite and courteous manner at all times. To co-operate fully with any customer who requires assistance in a prompt caring and helpful manner. To adopt a flexible approach and assist in different areas of the Hotel as business and customer needs dictate. Carry out reasonable requests.
4.To perform all tasks to a consistent standard as detailed within the Department and to operate within Hotel Key Standards.
5.To attend daily briefing sessions and Hotel/Departmental meetings when required.
6.To take responsibility for own personal development by attending training sessions and meetings when required and to operate in line with the training or information received.
7.To achieve action points arising out of appraisal and Job Chats.
8.To demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high level of commitment.
9.To positively contribute to the sales activities within your Department/Hotel, maximising sales opportunities and to demonstrate knowledge of Company products.
10.To minimise operating costs by using all equipment and products in accordance with Company or manufacturers guidelines.
11.To report all maintenance requirements and hazards in the work place to your Supervisor or Manager.
12.To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, licensing and employment.
13.To adhere to Company and Hotel rules at all times
MAIN DUTIES
1.To promote a helpful and professional image to the client and give full co-operation to any member requiring assistance, with a prompt and caring attitude
2.To strive to anticipate client needs whenever possible and to enhance quality service and in turn enhance member satisfaction.
3.To give full co-operation to any colleague needing assistance
4.To attend required training with particular reference to ongoing product and treatment knowledge
5.To positively promote sales and maximise sales opportunities to achieve financial targets set for membership sales.
6.To liaise with the Beauty Manager to control all operating costs within the standards set under the direction of the Spa Supervisor & House Manager
7.To assist in the reporting procedures are adhered to and assist the Spa Supervisor and Beauty Manager in producing weekly, monthly and annual figures, and any other administrational duty.
8.To help maintain stock levels of products for retail sales and salon use and ensure they are stored correctly at all times.
9.Assist in implementing a proactive promotional and sales programme for the salon.
10.To ensure that the requirements of the suppliers with regards to general standards of cleanliness, display, décor and therapists are met and whenever possible surpassed
11.To be actively involved in the Spa as a whole and bring new ideas and concepts.
12.To maintain a good knowledge of competitors, local information and attractions
13.To maintain a good working knowledge of Wood Hall, it's history, facilities and activities available, and to promote them whenever possible
14.Carry out any reasonable request made by guests or management
15.To report for duty at the required time, in the correct uniform and observing the necessary standard of personal hygiene
