Business Development Manager - Nationwide

Quasar Elite ® - is currently recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Business Development Manager.

About us

Quasar Elite® is designed, produced, maintained and sold by Quasar Manufacturing Ltd. Quasar Manufacturing Ltd have been involved in the Laser-tag industry for over 19 years. We have provided support, maintenance and equipment to Laser-tag sites with the Quasar/Q-Zar brand systems the world-over throughout this time.

The Job

• Following up e-mails, phone calls and trade show leads
• Generation of new leads
• Visiting sites in UK and Ireland
• Providing a high standard of service to the customers – This could range from simply selling the basic system to a full design and build (turnkey) project
• Providing weekly progress reports on customer leads and schedules for systems to be installed.

Requirements

• You should be target driven and self motivated
• You should also be presentable and confident in face to face business situations
• You should also be able to hold you own in a conversation about laser-tag (bearing in mind the customers you might be talking to, may know more about the subject than you do)
• Experience in the Laser-tag or circuit board electronic industry would be a distinct advantage for this unusual and highly rewarding job.

What We Offer

The successful applicant will receive a 15K basic plus commission of between 7-10% of the total sale cost. (The sales values range from 10K to 150K.) We will supply full training but the sooner an applicant can grasp this the sooner they will be earning commission so previous knowledge is a distinct advantage.

This job will be mainly on the road, the offices are London based but you would not be in the office on a day to day basis so ideally would suit someone who lives in the Midlands
