SPORTS OFFICER - Worthing, West Sussex

The Leisure and Cultural Services department of Worthing Borough Council invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced leisure personnel to undertake the following key roles:

SPORTS OFFICER

SALARY: £16,536 -  £20,736

Based primarily at Worthing Leisure Centre, the successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of all on site activities, acting as Duty Manager to cover sickness and annual leave as required. In addition, this post will have a particular responsibility for courses, standards, monitoring & usage and training, working closely with the Sports Manager and Business Development Manager to deliver key projects.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years experience in a leisure-based facility or comparable marketing environment.
