Full time-fixed term to 31st March 2011 West End, London £26,092 pa plus benefits

Central YMCA is a key partner in the Well London Alliance, a shared £9.46 million Lottery funded Health Commission led partnership, working to deliver innovative projects within 20 London boroughs and benefit around 35,000 people.

We seek to appoint an Activator who will join a team of two to play a crucial role engaging communities in physical activity and sports through signposting to existing provision and where necessary, developing and delivering a range of locally offered physical activity programmes in partnership with residents, community groups and statutory services.

You must hold a level 3 qualification in sports and/or fitness and have demonstrable skills in:

• Sports and fitness • Community based activities or projects

• Working in partnership • Community development
