Making a difference in Sport and widening participation in Netball

Oldham has a well developed and progressive netball structure and we are looking to take it forward to another level of performance and development. With the profile of netball being continually raised one of our targets is to get an Oldhamer into the England team within the future.

Applications are invited from individuals with a real passion for Netball who will be able to pick up and run with the Netball Provision for OCLL.  This will include coaching, leagues, outreach work and holiday camps within OCL and across the borough to provide support to other officers in delivering opportunities for individuals within Netball.

The individual will hold current Coaching and Umpiring qualifications at a minimum of Level 2.  Previous Child Protection training will be an advantage.

The post is part time hours for 20 hours a week, which will include evening and weekend work.  Full time hours may be negotiated dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate and the flexibility to undertake alternative duties.

The post is on Scale 4, scp 17 which equates to £8,985 per annum pro rata for 20 hours per week.  The post also attracts a car mileage and mobile phone allowance and a final salary pension.
