Swimming Teacher

This is a development opportunity for individuals to undertake Swimming Teacher hours within Oldham Community Leisure Limited.

Contracted hours are currently available; however these are predominantly evening and weekends. 

The rate of pay is £8.23 per hour and includes sickness and holiday entitlements and a uniform provision.

The purpose of the role is to deliver a graded, progressive Learn to Swim Scheme that fits within the Sports Development Continuum and meets the needs of the people of Oldham.

Duties include the organization of swimming tuition programme, undertaking administration duties, identify changes and implement as necessary and to undertake CPD as required.  Flexibility is key to the smooth running of the Swim Scheme.

Individuals should hold a Nationally Recognised Level 2 Swim qualification, or may hold a Level 1 qualification and be currently working towards a Level 2.

Previous experience and knowledge of the ASA National Teaching Plan and the Sports Development Continuum will be an advantage.
