Project Manager - St Albans

4-year contract

Unless you already live in St Albans, there’s little chance you know very much about it. Situated 20 miles outside London, with good road and rail links into the city, it’s a great place to live and work. But we think it could be a lot more than that. Having recently been granted funds to develop our culture and community, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help us put St Albans on the map.

If you have a successful public sector background, and good project management experience, you could help us realise some big ambitions. These include the creation of two new leisure facilities, for which you will be directly responsible, the development of a new museum, extending an indoor tennis centre and delivering an annual festival.

Not only is this a huge opportunity for St Albans to develop and grow, it’s also a chance for you to really make your mark within the public sector. To succeed, you’ll need to have experience in a multi-stakeholder environment, you’ll be a good communicator with excellent presentation skills, and you’ll have a driving licence.

But above all, you’ll have the passion and commitment to change the future of St Albans for good.
