POST TITLE     :   Junior Tennis Coordinator

SALARY           :   Scale 4, £16,536.00 - £18,430

(per annum, pro rata)

POST   HOURS:   18 hours per week

POSITION SPECIFICS

The Junior Tennis Coordinator will be actively involved in all aspects of junior tennis at the centre and its satellite venues and feeder schools.

Specifically responsible for running the Centre’s schools programme, you will liaise with key contacts in local schools and with our partners in ensuring a successful schools programme that is fully integrated into the centre development and performance strands. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the junior teams in local leagues and the LTA Ariel Mini Tennis teams as well as being involved in organising internal match play. There is also a chance to work on the centre development programme and to boost income providing individual tuition.

The post is salaried for 18 hours per week of both on and off court work at the centre, in schools and at local clubs as designated by the Tennis Manager.

You should hold the LTA DCA (level 1) coaching qualification along with a current Coaches License and have proven experience of coaching on junior development programmes.

Experience in schools is desirable as is experience of administering a junior programme/schools programme or tournament admin experience.
