Recreation Assistant - Wigan

Applications are sought from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are interested in working within the leisure industry.

As a Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard, you will work as part of a team to ensure that our facilities are both safe and enjoyable places to visit. You duties will include lifeguarding and assisting in the operation and maintenance of our leisure centres.

Applicants must hold a current pool lifeguard qualification, except for the posts at Robin Park for which you will require a current first aid certificate. You must also have good interpersonal/organisational skills, along with experience of working in a leisure facility. A sports coaching qualification may be an advantage.
