Sports Development Officer

My client is now searching for an outstanding Sports Development Officer who can drive participation over a large geographical area.

Servicing 3 large sports centres, your role will be to utilise a wide range of resources to fulfill the local authority's requirements in providing sporting acitivities for all ages and abilities throughout the local area.

You will be responsible for managing special projects, setting up GP Referral schemes and liaising with schools to deliver a diverse activity programme that encourages participation at all levels.

The successful candidate should have relevent qualifications in sports development or be able to demonstrate experience in the set-up and management of activity programmes.
