The Greene King Pub Company, winner of Pub Company of the Year 2007, is the managed house division of Greene King Plc.  Employing 14,000 people in over 750 pubs and hotels across two divisions:

Destination Pubs are branded or formatted pubs, mostly with a strong food offer and high percentage of food sales. They are a mix of suburban, town pubs and hotels, and include Hungry Horse, Inns, Old English Inns and Hardy’s and Hanson’s food-oriented sites.

Local Pubs are traditional, community pubs, mainly in towns and mostly with a high percentage of liquor sales and a more individualistic style of operation based on the relationship between regular customers, the community and the licensee. They are a mix of community, suburban and town centre sites and include Giant’s Plate.
