With a strong recent track record as a General Manager in a managed pub, you should have a personal licence and have managed a team of at least fifteen people. Experience of managing a branded operation with a heavy food bias is essential. You must be able to show a genuine, thorough commercial understanding of what makes a top pub succeed, i.e. food/liquor split, mystery shoppers, and handling supply volumes.
