Britannia Hotels is the fastest expanding independent UK hotel group, currently we have 51 hotels (and growing) and 6 Pontins Holiday Parks. A fiercely independent, innovative and thriving company, our success has been built on the can-do attitude of the people who work for us.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support the growth of this landmark hotel in Canary Wharf. We want someone to work closely with the General Manager, to create and implement a strategy in line with the direction the hotel is taking. This is a key new position which would suit a self-motivated sales individual with a track record of success.
We are looking for a passionate individual who will thrive in developing new relationships, and bring the hotel vision to the forefront. This will include developing various channels of distribution, corporate business, events, travel trade, coach and affinity groups.
This is a varying and challenging role as part of the dynamic hotel senior team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new sales revenue and be the face of this 530 bedroom property.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Current experience in a similar position within a medium to large hotel group.
- A strong commercial outlook on sales and revenue, and be result focused.
- Excellent sales, customer care, account management and negotiation skills, along with strong presentation and influencing skills.
- A good knowledge of Opera systems would be an advantage.
