What will I be doing?
As a Commis Chef you will assist the Head Chef in providing all meals within the hotel ensuring that you work inline with company standards and in accordance with health and Hygiene procedures, such as HACCP.
It will be your responsibility to be well organised and prepared for each service including; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. You will also need to work to a high standard within the preparation & presentation of your food and have excellent attention to detail when accepting deliveries, ensuring that the food is stored away correctly and stock is rotated in the proper manner.
You will also be serving on the buffet, helping out in other departments where required and assist in the provision of special cakes, celebratory dishes and any dietary requirements of our guests.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for cooking with a desire to develop as a Chef. You will also need a hard working approach with the willingness to take on additional tasks where required and be a team player. Previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial and also working within a high volume environment and/or an NVQ in Catering is desirable.
