Demi Chef de Partie required for prestigious hotel in leafy Teddington, Middlesex.

The Role: 

  • Responsible for a kitchen section as directed, working flexibly across the Catering operation, and maintain the highest possible standard of cuisine at all times, in all types of catering
  • Follow all cleaning schedules and rotas as laid down to ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene in all kitchen and plate wash areas and to ensure that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are met
  • Ensure the Executive Chef or Duty chef is informed of the stock position on all foodstuffs
  • Teach the basic culinary skills and knowledge to Commis and Trainee Chefs during the working process
  • Ensure the HACCP procedures are followed at all times and all necessary forms are completed

The Candidate:

  • NVQ level 2/3 or similar relevant industry experience and qualifications
  • Must have valid certificate at Level 2 Food Hygiene
  • Clean, neat and methodical approach to work
  • Able to work under pressure
  • High standard of food hygiene and fully understand HACCP and COSHH

Terms & Conditions:

  • 39 hours per week, worked on a shift rota basis
  • Paid annual leave of 4 x weekly contracted hours, plus pro rata bank holiday entitlement
