As a District Manager, you'll need to be a motivator and mentor, someone who can guide the store managers in your district and develop their talent. You will have experience leading multiple stores, and be no stranger to ensuring district-wide financial performance, customer satisfaction and high quality product is executed perfectly every time. But most of all, you'll be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment.
 
Your key responsibilities as a District Manager include:

  • Accountability for a district of approximately 14 stores, 100 partners (including part-time)
  • Developing district-wide store teams to anticipate customer needs and deliver world class customer service everyday
  • Constantly reviewing and driving store managers and teams towards key business drivers
  • Coaching, challenging and inspires store managers to take action and  achieve business results
  • Supporting the Coffee Master programme and tools to educate and inspire passion about coffee in partners and customers
  • Making succession planning and recruitment decisions for shift managers, assistant store managers and store managers

The ideal candidate for the District Manager position will have:

  • Solid experience in retail or similar complex, fast paced industry
  • Experience analysing financial reports and making business driving decisions based on findings
  • Experience in a multi-unit environment with a similar span of control mentioned above
  • The ability to manage the overall operations of multiple stores independently
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
  • The ability to build relationships and work cross functional with support centre and EMEA partners
