SNAP Fitness is coming to Sale! With the opening date quickly approaching we have an opening for a Club Manager to join the team and lead the Sale pre–sales, staff hiring and club set up.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, dynamic company with a large roll out plan in place.

Title: Club Manager

Club Location: Sale, Manchester

Responsible to: Head of Operations

Salary: Competitive Basic & Bonus

Overview and Objectives:
The Club Manager is the key role in Snap Fitness clubs, responsible for overall day to day management of all operations. Working closely with the Head of Operations and MD, the position will have full accountability and authority for all operational aspects and management of staff, including sales, marketing and general administration.

Key accountabilities that are part of the role:

Membership Sales & Retention

  • Driving club growth through quality membership sales
  • Increasing member retention through member engagement.
  • Tracking and reporting on various sales ratios
  • Developing and following up on Assistant Manager’s sales performance

Marketing & Community Activities

  • Execution of National marketing initiatives
  • Local area marketing planning and execution
  • Generation of community focused initiatives
  • Maintaining best practice digital presence

Club operations and presentation

  • Reconciling monthly membership billings
  • Chasing outstanding debtors
  • Maintaining club presentation to the highest possible standard
  • Maintaining equipment functionality and servicing

Management of Personal Trainers & Group Fitness instructors

  • Recruitment of professional personal trainers (sub-­‐contracted)
  • Assistance in marketing and development of personal trainers
  • Design and maintain weekly Group Fitness timetable
  • Recruit and retain top quality fitness instructors

  • Net Membership Growth
  • Retention Rate
  • Club Audit Results
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • PT Engagement & Group Fitness Attendance

Selection Criteria:

  • Background in Gym Management–heavy emphasis on sales
  • Previous administration experienced preferred
  • REPS Level 3 qualified preferred but not required
  • Enthusiastic, empathetic and conscientious personality a must
