HR Manager –Freedom Leisure - up to £33201.95 + company car allowance

To support our ambitious growth strategy we are looking for an experienced HR manager who is passionate about delivering high standards of HR advice and guidance. We need you to provide a customer and commercially focussed generalist HR service across all Freedom Leisure Centres ensuring that credible, practical and legally compliant advice is provided and feeds into business success and objectives.
You will be responsible for offering specific HR advice and support on casework across a wide range of issues to managers, including employment law issues, employment terms conditions, performance and absence management, remuneration and business restructures.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
- Experience of working in a generalist HR role and dealing / managing casework
- Extensive experience of employee relations
- Managing a team of advisors and administrators
- In depth knowledge and understanding of UK employment legislation including TUPE regulations
- Understanding of payroll and pension administration
You will be confident and credible with the ability to influence others positively. We need you to have a flexible approach to meet the changing demands of the business. There are managerial responsibilities, so you must be able to motivate and inspire your team. This role is likely to involve frequent business travel and therefore the post-holder needs to be a car owner with a full driving licence.
