We’re on the lookout for a reliable and committed Commis Chef with a genuine interest in developing a rewarding career in professional cookery.
On a daily basis you’ll be supporting other chefs in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking. Our menu has a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world: in other words, modern British cookery. Our passion lies in finding quality ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way.
We encourage all our chefs to embrace our food culture and take part in menu development changes so you’ll have the chance to submit your own ideas for new dishes coming on to the menu.
This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of delicious dishes, effective kitchen controls and excellent standards of health and hygiene.
This is a key role in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and some experience of working in a busy kitchen in a fresh food environment. Creating a happy working atmosphere is vital to the successful running of the kitchens and comes high on our agenda and so your contribution to creating a friendly and supportive working environment is crucial.
