Responsibilities

What does the ROLE look like?

  • Ensure all mis-en-place is in place and correctly set up for service for forecasted covers and events.
  • Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked in accordance with menu specifications, ensuring high standards of presentation.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
  • Assist with food stock takes as required.
  • Ensure daily H&S, HACCP checks are conducted as required by law and corrective actions are documented.
  • Ensure full understanding of the functional administration of the restaurant.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the H&S Act 1974 and Food Hygiene.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to by all team members.
