We believe in continually developing the business and have invested heavily in our product and our overall facilities to improve these for our customers. We strive to ensure that all that we offer meets and exceed the expectations of our customers with our overall aim being to ‘help more people become more active more often’. We also continue to invest in our employees to ensure that we get the right people in the right posts and have strong values of One Team, Excellence and Passion.
KAL Swim Performance, working in partnership with BOK Swimming Club, provides a talent pathway to elite swimming success from county level through to Elite senior swimmers. Formed in 2013, the programme has over 200 members.
The programme is now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic qualified coach who is an excellent communicator, with a good understanding of LTAD, to join our coaching team and support the Head Coach in delivering coaching and managing the performance programme.
The successful applicant will receive quality mentoring from our head coach Mark Lappin and will also receive CPD support to ensure they can become the best coach possible for the programme.
- The primary role of an Activator is to deliver high quality sessions. You will be asked to work at a range of KAL sites at varying times and days depending on programming so you will need to be flexible on location and hours.
- You will have some administration tasks to complete so you need to be organised and manage your time well. This is a busy role that needs to be fulfilled at pace, with lots of energy.
- There is an expectation that you will support an amount of events as a volunteer for BOK Swimming Club.
- You will hold a minimum of the ASA Level 2 Teaching / Coaching Aquatics qualification. In addition, applicants must hold either a National Pool Lifeguard
Award or the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teaches and Coaches (NRASTC) or be willing to undertake this qualification within 6 months of employment.
Does this sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.
In return, we can offer you a great package of benefits through our Staff and Family Membership scheme, which provides virtually free facilities for you and a greatly discounted rate for some of your family. Plus we also have a great discount website which can save you and your family loads of money too!
We have excellent annual leave entitlement and can offer an excellent pension scheme (West Yorkshire Pension Fund). We also like to have fun and celebrate our successes as often as we can.
