Junior Sous Chef is required for this superb hotel and award winning restaurant
As Junior Sous Chef you will need to have previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients in busy hotels or restaurants and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, cooking and presentation skills
This is a great opportunity for a chef to develop their CV and demonstrate the ability to produce simple but full flavour cooking. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in food and a great personality to share their passion. You must have the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure while encouraging the best from the rest of the team.
As Junior Sous Chef you will need to have good all round skills and have the confidence to run any section and have the ability to run the kitchen or send a function in the absence of the Head Chef or Senior Sous.
The Head Chef may consider a strong Chef de Partie looking to move forward with their career.
Live in may be available for this position, but it may also suit anyone living in the Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Ripon, Leeds and possibly Skipton areas with their own transport.
Basic salary of upto £22,000 (depending upon experience)
