Investment Appraisal Manager - Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants

Our Property Finance team based at our Support Centre in Dunstable, Bedfordshire are currently recruiting for an Investment Appraisal Manager - Job share to join their team on a 3 day week basis.

The Role: Investment Appraisal Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced finance professional to join our Property Finance team, who are based at our Support Centre in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. As an Investment Appraisal Manager, you will;

- Be responsible for ensuring site appraisal packs include accurate financial analysis (e.g. NPV and ROCE) in addition to being complete, robust and thoroughly reviewed

- You will play a critical role in managing the investment process for c.£230m capital per annum

- Business Partnering the Acquisitions, Construction and Business Development teams

- Responsible for the annual review and update of the financial appraisal model to ensure it is kept up to date and improved wherever possible

- Development of financial models for new concepts and products, ensuring that any new innovations are accurate modelled and appraised consistently with the core investment model

- Be an engaging and supportive line manager to an Investment Analyst

This role is a potential succession role to the Senior Investment Manager however as a member of a very high profile and widely networked team this role provides a strong platform for progression across the rest of the Business.

You are a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

You have a minimum 2 Years PQE

You have a proven track record of strong financial modelling

You are able to present succinctly to senior stakeholders

You are comfortable working under pressure and prioritising work streams

Your engaging leader and have a genuine desire to help your team learn, grow and progress
