Nuffield Health, one of the UK's leading healthcare organisations, are currently seeking a full time Assistant Programme Director on a permanent basis to be based at our Club Baltimore site near Canary Wharf.

The Club Opening hours are;
Monday to Friday 0600-2200
Saturday and Sunday 0800-1800

As the Assistant Programme Director you will be responsible in assisting the Programme Director with the overall performance and strategic direction of the Fitness & Wellbeing Centre. This is a demanding role, in a busy environment currently undergoing a multi million pound renovation project. This role requires a strong management background, a creative mind and an adaptable approach to working environment.

Responsibilities Include:

* Management of all aspects of the Fitness & Wellbeing Centre including day to day tasks and operations
* Assist in ensuring performance against budget is tracked monthly and EBITDA is achieved
* Strong management and leadership of the on-site team
* Ensure site KPI's and service levels are tracked and measured as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual report format
* Understanding and implementation of internal control systems, policies and procedures
* Carry out quality control to maintain required high level of customer service in line with 'Service as it Should be' principles
* Ensure compliance with legislation and policies, rules and procedures
* Management of processes and procedures to ensure delivery of a consistently high standard ensuring Client and Customer Satisfaction, retention and loyalty are achieved
* Development and implementation of the business plan and marketing plan
* Responsibility for the Health & Safety of all employees and members
* Maintain strong relationships with NH Account Director
* Design, implementation of events, challenges and marketing campaigns

Skills/Experience Required:
Creative thinker, that works efficiently and effectively
An adaptable worker able to think on their feet and use initiative
Tenacious individual that shows a flair for driving business opportunities
A self-motivated manager with experience of managing a large high-performing team
An understanding of a commercial P&L
Meticulous attention to detail in all areas of work
Articulate and able to demonstrate good communication skills within a demanding arena
At least 2 years management experience of a large team
Good creative management and leadership skills
Proven IT knowledge and competence with MS packages
Excellent personnel management skills
Finally, all candidates must be enthusiastic, hard working and able to deliver under pressure.
