Nuffield Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapy Assistant to join the team at the Leeds Nuffield Hospital.

The successful candidate will be fundamental to meeting our visions by bringing the very best standards of Physiotherapy care and services to our clients. The role will be focussed on supporting our inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy teams, as well as including some administrative tasks to ensure the department as a whole runs effectively.

Within our hospital based specialist centres the Physiotherapy Assistant will, in conjunction with other team members, deliver high quality care to our patients within the clinic and ward setting and actively promote the principles of health and wellbeing. The role holder will develop effective relationships with other clinicians and colleagues within the hospital and be integral in supporting the administrative responsibilities within the department.

The Main Duties and Responsibilities are to:

Deliver high quality, effective clinical care as guided by the scope of practice determined by the Inpatient Clinical Lead Physiotherapist.

Support the delivery of services in the outpatient clinic, including the patient group treatment classes.
Ensure that all clinical records are accurately maintained and conform to all legal requirements.

Complete various administrative duties to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively.

Your Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Values:

Ideally you will have experience of working as a Physiotherapy Assistant in either a private hospital or NHS environment. We are looking for a committed person with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload and work autonomously when required.

You will need to have:

Experience of clinical patient interaction either in a private hospital or NHS environment, ideally as a Physiotherapy Assistant.
Excellent IT and administrative skills, with experience of using electronic patient record systems.
The ability to manage your own workload and be a self-motivated, dynamic team player.
At least 12 months working experience in the UK
