Sous Chef - Events / Staff Dining

Location: South West London / Surrey – KT13

Salary: Up to £27,000 per year

I am looking for a strong sous chef to join a busy team at a modern, high-end caterer at a beautiful flag ship site in Surrey.

The mainstay of the business is catering for a large site population on a daily basis but the site is also home to events for both private and corporate clients. The company as a whole also cater for a broader client base and cover events for 2 to 2000.

As sous chef you will need excellent culinary skills and ideally have an event or contract catering background with fairly high volume experience in high end establishments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a company that is set to see considerable growth and development. You will also be given lots of opportunity to collaborate creatively with an exceptional exec chef, developing dishes and recipes that will feature on the seasonal menus.

The ideal candidate:

  • Trained and qualified as a chef

  • Enthusiastic and keen to continue learning

  • Highly creative

  • Flexible in your approach to working hours

  • Able to manage events on your own from start to finish

  • Happy in a client facing role
