Loss Prevention Supervisor - Manchester - 36.5 hrs
Our Loss Prevention teams are there to ensure effective protection of company assets, staff and customers by implementing the stores stock loss plan; deterring theft; as well as coaching staff to be vigilant and understand the benefits of excellent customer service in preventing loss.
Reporting to the Selling Support Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Loss Prevention department, supporting with the recruitment, training and development of the team. The role will involve the review and maintenance of back of house standards as well as providing an efficient service to the sales floor to minimise loss to the company wherever possible
You will be a positive and confident individual, who has an organised and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will have the skills to coach colleagues, to solve problems and make effective decisions, delegating where appropriate. An understanding of retail and operational procedures is essential and you will need to be numerate as well as computer literate
The role can involve the opening and closing of the store as well as being available for emergency call outs, therefore flexibility with working hours is vital.
Ideally you will also have a sound knowledge of COSHH, HASAW, PACE, data protection and accounting procedures.
This is a fully flexible role and will require you to work up to 5 out of 7 full days per week for which rotas will be provided 4 weeks in advance (including weekends & bank holidays). The days and times for each shift may vary depending on the business needs.
