Conference and Banqueting Manager – 5* Luxury - £28000 + benefits
We are looking for an experience Conference & Banqueting Manager to join the team of this 5* Luxury Hotel in Berkshire. You will ensure the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring the Company’s high standards are always met and exceeded.
THE DUTIES OF THE C&B MANAGER INCLUDE:-
- Day to day operation for the C&B department
- Rotas, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Overseeing weddings, meetings and events
- Managing all aspects of Health, Safety and Food Hygiene
- Training and Development of your team
- Maximising Sales Opportunities
- Have the ability to effectively manage high volumes of business within a pressurised environment
- Be proactive and forward thinking with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, reward and develop a team.
- Currently be a working in a 4* or 5* Hotel or Conference and Event Venue
- Be a people person experienced in managing large teams
- Have at least one year’s experience in a similar position running Weddings, Banqueting, Conference, Corporate and Private Functions.
