Are you an Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor/Team Leader looking for an exciting new challenge? We have an excellent Assistant Managers at the The Walkford, Walkford, Christchurch, Dorset.

The Business

Average weekly turnover: £17k
Split Wet/Food: 55/45%

The Walkford is a community pub with inside seating for the bar and dining, a large outside area and a skittle alley. Attracting a mix of families for food and with a growing group of regular drinking visitors we are busy throughout the day. A skittle alley is available for hire and is used by parties of 20+ on average 3 times a week.

A friendly and hard working team provide the backbone for a pub offering a quiz and entertainment to regulars and newcomers alike with opportunity for growth.

Role & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business.

With fantastic people skills, you will have the ability to lead from the front, to inspire and motivate your team and to engage your customers. You will need to be genuinely passionate about hospitality and will be able to provide an upbeat, efficient customer service. The food element of the business is vital and you will have the pride and enthusiasm to assist in the delivery of consistently high quality and exceptional standards across the business. With the desire to excel, succeed and win, you will assist in driving business to achieve excellent sales and profit growth.
