Description of the pub

The Dog and Bone has been awarded Lincoln Camra pub of the year for the past three years and has an excellent reputation for its beer quality, standards and endless pub activity. Decorated to a high standard and very in-keeping with its traditional image the Dog and Bone offers a bar and lounge which are separated by a single bar servery. To the rear of the premises there is a beautiful beer garden including a barbeque area and gazebos. The pub also boasts a small but adequate catering kitchen on the first floor.

Brief description of the present trading environment

The Dog & Bone is a gem of a pub nestled amongst the terraced housing of Monks Road. Although a community pub, currently people travel from all over the city and indeed the county to experience the many activities run at the pub. These include regular live music nights, quizzes, beer festivals, food gourmet nights, craft fairs and art exhibitions.
