Head Chef required for this friendly village pub serving a selection of tasty pub classics and a daily specials board created from scratch using fresh local seasonal ingredients.
The Owner is looking for a Head Chef to lead their small team, somebody who will train up the juniors and create a happy productive kitchen. The Pub gets busy during the summer months with tourists serving upto 90 covers a day.
This position would suit somebody with previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients looking to step up and take responsibility for their own kitchen.
As Head Chef you will be responsible the day to day running of your kitchen and everything that goes with that from organising rotas, organising prep lists, ordering supplies ensuring the hygiene records are fully maintained and the kitchen is making the correct profit and food standards are maintained.
There is no live in for this position so candidates need to live in Hayle, St. Ives, Penzance, Cambourne or possibly Redruth area with access to their own transport as there is no local bus service.
