Sous Chef Busy Restaurant Cambridge - Up to £26,000
Sous Chef required for this fast paced, group owned restaurant serving casual all day dining. The restaurant has an Italian branded menu created to serve dishes with the minimum of fuss but with the maximum flavour.
They are looking for a motivated and organised sous chef with previous experience of cooking for big numbers, somebody that is used to cooking from group menus.
This position would also suit an experienced Sous Chef looking to further develop their management skills, the company offers extensive training open to all staff and holds an annual chef of the year competition with a variety of prizes including paid trips to Italy.
As Sous Chef you will be working alongside the Head Chef to organise the kitchen on a daily basis deputising in their absence, organising and delegating out prep lists, ordering supplies ensuring the hygiene records are fully maintained and the kitchen is making the correct profit and food standards are maintained.
This is a hands on role and you will be involved in service every day, part of your duties will include training and motivating your team ensuring their on-going training is completed.
There is no live in for this position so candidates need to live in Cambridge or surrounding areas
