Sous Chef 2 Rosette Uckfield East Sussex 26K Plus Tips and Live In

Sous Chef required to join the team at this Superb Country House Hotel with award winning restaurant. The Head Chef is looking for somebody with a stable proven background in busy 4 or 5 star hotels.

As Sous Chef your involvement and input is crucial and the Head Chef is looking for a candidate that is looking to be totally involved with the smooth running of the kitchen contributing with menu ideas for the Fine Dining Restaurant that enhance the ‘offering’ of the hotel using fresh ingredients including many especially sourced local seasonal ingredients.

As Sous Chef You will be able to communicate very well and build good working relationships with your new colleagues including Directors, General Manager, Head Chef and other HOD’s whilst motivating your team and inspiring others to develop and succeed.

Part of your duties will include taking financial control of the kitchen so full knowledge of stock control, purchasing and menu planning skills are imperative. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all HACCAP, CoSHH reports are maintained and monitored alongside general kitchen management including wastage controls etc.

Live in is available but this position would also suit someone living in the Uckfield, Lewes, Hayward Heath, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells and possibly Crawley areas with their own transport.
