An experienced Head Chef is required for this traditional pub located around 5 miles from Southampton in the New Forest.
As Head Chef you must be capable of maintaining the current menus and have the technical skill required to develop new ideas encouraging locals to try new dishes.
As Head Chef your involvement and input is crucial to the continued success of this thriving and growing business so duties, skills and attributes will include a friendly personality with definite ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail, real passion for food and drink, with ability to bring added value to whatever you do.
Part of your duties will include taking complete financial control of the kitchen so full knowledge of stock control, purchasing and menu planning skills are imperative.
This is a live out position and due to the location applicants must have their own transport. It may suit anyone living in the Southampton, New Forest, Ringwood and Salisbury areas.
Excellent salary of upto £35,000 (depending upon experience)
