Job Role :

Reporting to the Support Manager, you will lead and manage a team of approximately 10 assistants to deliver store operational effectiveness. Your team could include assistants from any of the following functions; Technical Services, Business Support, Stockroom, Warehouse or Loss Prevention.

In this role, you will provide clear direction and support to your team. The effective communication of key business messages will be essential in ensuring their daily activity is focused on achieving operational standards throughout the store.

With responsibility for staff rotas and resource planning, you be expected to ensure appropriate staffing levels are well maintained. You will take accountability for the recruitment and development of your team, conducting regular reviews to enhance and address individual performance.

Candidate Requirements :

This role will suit individuals who are well accustomed to motivating and developing the potential of others to support business growth. It requires someone with strong leadership qualities, experience of cross functional working and excellent planning and organisational skills. You will be a positive, proactive individual, with strong commercial skills and a passion for retail.

You will have proven experience of recruiting, developing and managing a team of individuals.
