Personal Trainer - The Hurlingham Club
The Hurlingham Club is a green oasis set within 42 acres on the banks of the River Thames. The Club provides sporting and social events, activities and facilities for its members and takes pride in the fact that it is one of Britain’s greatest private members’ clubs. There are numerous departments at the Club which help to ensure that members are provided with the best standard of service, including Catering, Estates, Events, Admin, IT and Communications, HR, Sports and Finance.
The Fitness Centre team are part of the Sports department and are a member facing area. They are a fairly large, friendly team responsible for looking after the members and their guests with regards the indoor sports facilities; Dance Studio, Gym, Indoor Pool, Squash, Treatment room, Crèche as well as the Outdoor Pool in the summer months along with some seasonal outdoor sports activities.
Candidates must hold a current and recognised qualification which would allow them to enter REPs at Level 3 or above, be self-motivated and have excellent customer care skills. Previous experience of managing Personal Training clients, fitness testing, inductions and programme writing is essential. Knowledge of movement analysis would be a distinct advantage. The ideally candidates will also be expected to be, or become, qualified to take Performance Matrix movement screens.
Starting salary is £22,000 per annum for a 37.5 hour week which includes any Personal Training. After three months this will drop to £15,000 per annum with commission paid on PT sessions.
(OTE should be in the region of £22,000 – £30,000 per annum).
